Donations We Accept
Clothing donations can be dropped off at our Warrensburg Center (3933 Main St, Warrensburg).
We accept clothing for any season, any gender, any age no matter the time of year. All items must be clean and bagged. Clothing can be donated on Monday and Tuesday, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
We also accept bedding, linens, and towels.
Please call to make arrangements if these times do not work for you.
Food and hygiene items may be donated at our Warrensburg Food Pantry (3933 Main St, Warrensburg) or Brant Lake Food Pantry (148 Tannery Pond Rd, Brant Lake).
These items must be unopened or unused, and within their sell date. Donors must call ahead if donating food so that a staff member can be present to ensure the food is properly put away.
Furniture of certain types can be donated to our Furniture Program (2 Stewart Farrar Ave, Warrensburg). If able, donors may bring the items to our furniture building, but an appointment is required.
We also offer a pick up service for donors unable to transport their furniture. The service is $50 per trip and must be scheduled in advance. Please call (518) 623-2829 ext. 304 to schedule your drop off or pick up.
Furniture we accept: couches, loveseats, recliners, lounge chairs, coffee tables, end tables, kitchen tables/chairs, refrigerators, electric stoves, dishwashers, clothes washers and dryers (electric), newer/flatscreen televisions, mattresses, box springs, bed frames, small to medium dressers, nightstands, rugs, table lamps, and certain kitchenware/cookware.
Furniture we do not accept: sleeper sofas, entertainment centers, TV stands, hutches, large buffets, wardrobes, armoires, large or heavy dressers, gas appliances, older/tube televisions, construction/permanent fixtures (cabinets, sinks, carpets).
NCM is proud to be part of a compassionate and charitable community that supports our programs with a variety of donations. While there are many types of donations we accept, there are some donations we cannot take. Building space, staff availability, and the needs of our clients are just a few of the factors that determine what items we can accept.
