North Country Ministry is proud to announce the reopening of its Furniture Program and the opening of the Brant Lake Clothing Center with Ribbon Cutting celebrations for both locations.
NCM and the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce invite the public to join us on Thursday, August 3rd at 1 p.m., in celebration of the Grand Re-Opening and to tour our new facility for the Furniture Program. The program’s new location is 2 Stewart Farrar Ave, Warrensburg, NY 12885. In partnership with the First Presbyterian Church, NCM has found a new home for our Furniture Program, which will continue to provide the community with gently used furniture.
NCM’s furniture program runs off donations from our neighbors and consists of lightly used furniture, household supplies, beds, and other household items. This program is designed to provide for individuals and families who are experiencing hardship or crisis and helps them to get their basic needs at no cost or for a small donation.
NCM and the North Warren Chamber of Commerce invite the public to join them on Wednesday, August 9th at 11:30 am, to celebrate the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of their new Clothing Center program.
The Brant Lake Clothing Center is located at 148 Tannery Road, Brant Lake, NY 12815. In partnership with the Family YMCA of the Glens Falls Area, NCM has expanded its clothing program to provide access to clothes for our northern service area.
The Brant Lake Clothing Center Program has a selection of men’s and women’s clothing, outerwear, bedding, linens, towels, and shoes. This program is designed to provide for individuals and families who are experiencing hardship or crisis and allows them to get their basic needs at no cost or for a small donation. (We do not accept donations at this location: donations need to go to our Warrensburg facility.)
North Country Ministry is a 510 (c)(3) organization that has been a cornerstone of the Southern Adirondack region for over 30 years, providing critically needed human services. From assistance with everyday needs such as food, clothing, and furniture, to other essentials such as emergency assistance and casework services, North Country Ministry has impacted the lives of thousands living in our extremely rural and underserved 650-square-mile service area.
NCM’s Executive Director, Kayla Carlozzi, said, “NCM is growing with community needs. We are thrilled to be able to reopen our Furniture Program to provide the basic living necessities. We are thankful to Ralph Bartlett and his team for working so hard on prepping the building for our program’s use. Both the Furniture Program and Clothing Center are essential to our mission of providing a ‘Hand of Hope.’ With the expansion of opening an additional Clothing Center, we can provide more of our services in our northern service area.”
